Instructions

Preserve the sweet taste of summer with this simple Strawberry Freezer Jam — no complicated canning or long boiling times needed. This recipe turns fresh strawberries into a luscious, spreadable jam by combining crushed berries with sugar and pectin, then storing it straight in the freezer. In under an hour you can have jars of vibrant, homemade jam ready to enjoy on toast, biscuits, pancakes, or stirred into yogurt and desserts.

Because it’s a freezer method, you don’t need to sterilize jars or process in a hot water bath — everything stays fresh and bright, and the flavor of the fruit remains light and natural. It’s perfect for small batches, gifts, or preserving just enough jam without committing to making gallons.

Once thawed, the texture is delightfully soft and jammy — sweet, fruity, and packed with real strawberry flavor. It’s a joy to pull from the freezer all through the off-season and feel like summer’s back in a jar.

Step 1. Cut the stems off the strawberries. Rinse and drain. Run through a food processor.

Step 2. Measure strawberry amount and place in a bowl. Add sugar and pectin and mix well. Add to jars or containers, cover with lids, and place in the freezer.
